The Indian Rice Exporters' Federation (IREF), the apex body representing more than 8,000 rice exporters across India, will organize the second edition of the Bharat International Rice Conference 2026 (BIRC 2026) from 23–25 October 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India.
India is the world's largest exporter of rice, with annual exports exceeding 20 million metric tonnes to more than 170 countries worldwide. BIRC 2026 is envisioned as one of the world's largest and most influential platforms dedicated to the global rice industry, bringing together policymakers, government officials, trade bodies, exporters, importers, researchers, technology providers, food companies, retail chains, and other stakeholders from across the world.
The Conference is expected to attract approximately 300 leading international buyers, government delegations, diplomats, trade associations, and key industry representatives. It aims to strengthen global food security partnerships, promote sustainable rice trade, facilitate technology exchange, and showcase India's leadership in the global rice sector.
BIRC 2026 will reaffirm India's commitment to food security, sustainable agriculture, technological innovation, and inclusive trade growth. The Conference will provide an exceptional platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, business networking, and collaboration across the entire rice value chain. With participation from governments, international organizations, private-sector leaders, innovators, and farmers, BIRC 2026 is expected to emerge as one of the world's premier rice industry events, fostering stronger global partnerships and creating new opportunities for trade and investment.
